Institute: Department of Economics, Hebrew University of Jerusalem

I am a senior lecturer (tenured) of economics at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and the Center for the Study of Rationality. My main research interests are in political economy and economics and psychology. I have been particularly interested in understanding the empirical determinants and implications of social identification, and in developing a theoretical framework where identities are endogenous. I have used this framework to study income redistribution, nationalism and ethnic conflict.

My work is funded in part by an ERC Starting Grant, an ISF grant and the Falk Institute.
